A great man lost
Posted on » Sunday, September 13, 2009

With great sorrow and pain, I received the news of the death of Senator Edward Kennedy who passed away on Tuesday, August 25, in the state of Massachusetts. This outstanding democratic man in the American Congress was renowned for his noble acts.He dedicated his life to championing social justice issues without fail and exerted every effort to combat poverty and defend issues related to education, healthcare and children.

Ted inherited the Kennedy values of loyalty and devotion, proving after decades of experience that he was worthy of carrying the torch left by his assassinated brothers John and Robert.I offer my condolences to Ted's wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, nephews Robert and Kerry KenneyÉ all of the Kennedy family, as well as Robert Kennedy Centre staff, in the name of justice and human rights. To the American people, my heartfelt condolences over this tragedy that has cast a shadow of sadness, not only in the US but across the world. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who adored him all over the entire world.
